The Peppercorns

While Nele is secretly trying to track down her biological father, the other Pfefferkörner meet a distraught old lady in the park. She has discovered a badly injured duck under a tree, which Tayo immediately takes to the vet. It turns out that the wound was probably caused by a knife or another sharp cutting tool – so the duck must have been deliberately injured. The investigation leads Levin, Tayo and Kira to an illegal paintball arena. The players there obviously have no qualms about violating gun laws for the sake of their hobby. Have they perhaps grown bored of shooting paint balls? Have they now taken up hunting helpless park animals? Of course, the Pfefferkorn family won't let up until all their questions have been answered and they can convict the culprit.
