Amundsen der Pinguin

Humor/Family, Germany 2003

Anne, an animal-loving girl from Cologne, can't believe her eyes. When her uncle Cornelius returns from his research expedition to the South Pole, he has a live penguin in his luggage. Anne is asked to take temporary care of the animal. She enthusiastically christens her new friend Amundsen - and starts by clearing out the fridge. After all, where else would a penguin sleep in summer temperatures? What Anne doesn't know is that there is a pirate's treasure in a sunken wreck in the eternal ice of the Antarctic, and Amundsen has found it! The penguin is expecting offspring and is building his nest with the precious gems. Now Cornelius has taken him from his breeding colony and brought him to Germany to protect him from his pursuers. Because the Russian Papanin is after the treasure - and he needs Amundsen to get it.
