8-year-old Erik lives in a children's home. His only wish is to celebrate Christmas at home with his parents. Instead, he is supposed to spend the festive season with a wealthy family and their spoiled daughter Lucy. In the middle of the night, Erik and Lucy meet Santa Claus in the living room, but he is really just a thief in disguise. They pursue the fake Santa Claus and become real friends during their adventure together. That night, all their wishes come true - albeit in a different way than they thought ...
