Tough Love

Young Andreas is abused by his father (Steffen Bielig) from his earliest childhood and sexually abused by his mother (Katy Karrenbauer) for years. Traumatized by these experiences of violence and rape, he slips into crime as a young man (Hanno Koffler) and earns his money as a pimp. But this eventually brings him to the attention of the police. After a violent outburst, Andreas ends up in prison, where over the years he manages to come to terms with his past, also with the help of his loyal girlfriend Marion (Luise Heyer). From then on, he does everything he can to get out of the scene and stand up against what he himself had to live through: the abuse of children.
