Noora lives with her parents and her little brother Morten on the Norwegian coast. She spends her days swimming and boating. When the 12-year-old finds a baby seal stranded, the summer idyll is over. Noora takes the little seal to a hiding place and takes care of it secretly, unaware that she is attracting the attention of smugglers.
