Una Primavera

After the last episode of domestic violence, Fiorella decides to leave her husband after 40 years of marriage. At 58, she files for divorce and sets out to find herself and her freedom. Her daughter Valentina accompanies her with her camera on this complex journey that takes her first to Berlin and then back to Italy. She documents with a relentlessly honest look Fiorella's attempt to finally separate from her husband and build a life for herself alone - which is not understood by everyone. Thus this journey of discovery confronts not only Fiorella and her daughter with their own desires, hopes and limits, but also with the patriarchal structures of their family and their environment.
