"Love Trouble" - This translation of the original Japanese title says it all in this popular anime series, in which a beautiful alien girl stirs up the life of 15-year-old student Rito Yuki. Clumsy Rito is actually madly in love with his classmate Haruna Sairenji. As is the case at this age, he can't bring himself to confess his love to his beloved with the blue-purple hair - something keeps getting in the way.
One day, as Rito is sitting in the bathtub dreaming of Haruna, a naked girl suddenly falls into the tub with him out of nowhere. Her name is Lala, she is the princess and heir to the throne of the planet Deviluke and on the run from her father, who is pressuring her into marriage. Without further ado, Lala decides to marry Rito!
Based on a manga series of the same name, which was drawn by "Black Cat" creator Kentarō Yabuki, "To Love Ru" enjoyed great success in Japan. The series can be assigned to the shōnen genre with many etchi elements, which is the most strongly represented on the Japanese market. In other words, a genre that is mainly aimed at adolescent males and features somewhat raunchy female characters, with a rather humorous approach to the topic of sexuality.
And so "To LOVE Ru" develops into a romantic comedy full of slapstick interludes, attractive classmates and hair-raisingly raunchy moments that defy the laws of physics, with a growing crowd of swooning beauties repeatedly thwarting Rito's attempts to confess his love to Haruna.
Rito Yuki is a clumsy guy. He is in love with his classmate Haruna Sairenji, but all his attempts to confess his love to her are always thwarted by incidents. One evening, as he is lying in the bathtub, Lala Satalin Deviluke suddenly appears out of nowhere.
