The Peppercorns

Laurenz witnesses how his classmate Moritz is beaten up by older students and filmed with a cell phone. It soon turns out that Moritz has become the random victim of a so-called happy slapping attack, in which the perpetrators' primary goal is to humiliate their victims by posting the filmed act on the internet. The Pfefferkörner do everything they can to convict the happy slappers. But after the thugs have taken Marie, Laurenz's little sister, to task, Laurenz gets scared and wants to call off the operation. When Yeliz and Lilly try to copy the uncut films from the perpetrators' laptop as evidence, Lilly is caught by the youths while copying the films.
