Jochen is mugged and ends up in the hospital. Since Anne has to go on an important business trip, Fiete offers to manage the store. In the warehouse, Vivi surprises two thieves who flee immediately. Vivi and Fiete search the sacks and find: comic books! Fiete has no time for such kid stuff! He has to write an offer for a major customer by tomorrow. Cem finds out on the internet that the comic books are valuable copies from the 1930s that have been reported stolen in America. A case for the police! But Vivi is kidnapped and the Pfefferkörner have to hand over the comics as ransom...
