The Peppercorns

The peppercorns are preparing their Brazilian confirmation party when the statue of St. Catherine disappears. Nobody except for the besotted Jana notices how worried Niklas reacts to the news. One of the suspects is the roofer, Niklas's father, who was recently in prison. Niklas himself also believes that his father is guilty. While searching for clues, he climbs around in the dilapidated church vault and falls. Jana saves him, but both are locked in the tower...
