The twins and Kathleen discover a shot dog on a bike ride and take it back to the boarding house. Kathleen cuts out the bullet and hides the dog in the attic. But the dog is discovered, and after a wild chase they all end up with Miss Theobald. However, the principal is very understanding and the girls are allowed to keep the dog until the end of the year.
