East Jerusalem sleeps at 10 pm. In West Jerusalem, on the other hand, the nightlife pulsates. David is 38 and looking for a woman for life. Not an easy task for a religious Jew in this day and age, because living together before marriage is out of the question for him. At the same time, there is great social pressure on him to finally marry and bring children into the world. Constanze and Jamal are a German-Palestinian couple. While their little daughter has long been asleep, the two architects make plans. The 90-year-old Ruth Bach leafs through old photos and looks back on her life.
